Apartment Review for Adcock/Apple Apartments - Biloxi, MS

We lived in Apple apartments from September 2006-February 2007. We had to live there in a pinch because my husband was stationed at Keesler for Tech school and because of Katrina housing was very slim pickins. On the plus side we didn't have any problems with crime and never saw a bug or rodent or anything and rent was cheap. You're very close to the base and to the water. On the downside, the apartment was very small, kitchen cabninets and appliances and bathroom were a complete disgusting mess, and the carpet wasn't cut correctly and was really gross (but they did replace carpet/flooring in some of the units). That area of town was very scary to me as far as crime and the apparent quality of the local residents. The staff was average I guess. There aren't laundry facilities in the complex but pretty close (but scary and dirty). (FYI if you have base priviledges) I was able to take my laundry to the TLF building and do it for free (on the DL) in their laundy facilities. So on a tempory basis in a pinch it was okay, but only if you're desparate. FYI for temporary living I was able to rent all of our furniture, by the month, through Southern Furniture Leasing, but I don't know if they are servicing the Biloxi area anymore. Good Luck!
