Apartment Review for South Wind Apartments - Biloxi, MS

My husband is the one who looked at these apartments. He was shown a unit that was suppose to be given to us, about a week before we moved in they assigned a new apartment to us, so he went and looked that one over as well. Then they day we showed up to move in they had given our apartment away to someone else and gave us a different one we hadn't gotten a chance to see before hand. We moved in and the entire place besides the bedroom was tile. Which with a toddler running around, she was constantly slipping and smacking her head on the tile. Also it was very very dirty, we spent several days scrubbing the place down. And was INFESTED with cockroaches. They were everywhere!!! All over the in the cubbards, the fridge, the bathroom, the sink, the dishwasher, you name it. We saw at least two cock roaches that were just a tad bit smaller than a mouse, they were huge! And we moved in a day before a hurricane hit, we got back to the apartment and had water damage, they came looked at it and said they would get to it in a few days... three months later still not fixed. Were out of here in three weeks, and can't wait! This is our very first apartment, and were making very sure the next time we rent from somewhere we see the unit were getting!! Also our neighbors that lived here at first partied every night and were really loud, they moved out finally after two weeks of us being here but then they rented out three across from us that are all friends, and now they party every night, extremely loud, and constantly wake us up with their yelling and loud music. Nothing is ever done about the noise. Find another place if you can!!!
